Camping. like a dark but wonderful cloud, looms on the horizon. Offering its promise of smoky, fire lit nights and long, dusty days in the woods. Life in the woods is such a delightful burden.

There is something so very therapeutic about taking a leisurely car drive. Last weekend, my old college roommate got married to a fine young lady. My wife and I were invited to attend their wedding in La Grande, Oregon. I was honored to stand at attention as second-best-man.

A few weeks ago, Nick, Brad and his wife, my brother, and my wife and I went for an adventurous hike in the Lincoln City, Oregon area.

Well, it is time for the Rec section to be visible to the public! Not because it's awesome, and not because it's full on fun and fact. No, in fact, it is quite boring. However, some old and moldy content can return to your screen -- the Lightsaber how-to's! I'm hoping to get some more stuff up soon. Dorky homemade toys, biking adventures, hiking adventures, and rivers flowing with the goodness of God's clear mountain water -- that's what this section is all about!
