About Randomland

Randomland is not very complicated, really. This site was created in 2002 by four high school graduates. It has gone through many different faces, but its heart remains the same. Randomland tracks our hobbies, cynicism, playfulness, and aspirations through the growing years of young adulthood.

Randomland became a place to post rants, humorous thoughts, stories of summer fun, and even the politically incorrect. In essence, Randomland was a personal blog before blogs hit the big-time.

Randomland is growing

Randomland is changing and growing. It now has a new home here on my little development server. I don't know how long this will last as I have too slow a connection to be doing hosting on. But I like the huge performance increase we got by going to a dedicated server (no more slow SQL responses and overloaded CPUs) If I had a faster connection then this would be they way to go. If anyone has any suggestion as to a fast, reliable and inexpensive host then please let us know.
