We are starting to hammer out the specifics of the new version of the picture project.

Photographic Excess

We here in the randomnets have been working on a new gallery system. Its still in beta, and mostly not any better then the old one, but it fits the look and feel of Randomland better. Take a look at some of the galleries, or if you want to completely gorge on our photographic incontinence (we just cant keep them in), check out the ImageStream. Its a free flowing collection of all the images to date. Have a look.. or 400!

Creating a Drupal Module

Firefox Gives Official Microsoft Addons the Boot!

Firefox-Disables-Pesky-MS-AI woke up this morning and started browsing the internet. Suddenly, Firefox asks me to restart because it has disabled installed addons which are either a high security risk or cause stability problems. It just so happens to be referencing the two official Microsoft addons I never asked for and did not install.

You see, I did not install these addons. They came as part of a Windows Update (perhaps last night, 10-17-09). Furthermore, I quick glance at my Firefox Addons lists shows me only one of the two (so-called) risky plugins.

I'm not sure if anyone else has run across this before, but I find it kind of odd. Simultaneously, I find it oh-so-typical. Way to go, embrace that bad-code stereotype!

Update 10-19-09, here is a little blurb about it on The Register.

Tentin' on the Ten-Ten — Fall Camping Trip, 2009

Lake PictureLast weekend, October 9-11, 2009, Nick, Cody, and I went for an autumn camping trip near Detroit, OR. This event has been dubbed Tentin' on the Ten-Ten (month 10, day 10). It was a good time, filled with picture taking, hot dog eating, and the woodland exploration.

I have uploaded a bunch of my pictures from the trip. They are available in the image gallery, under the album "Camping." In actuality, I have uploaded less than 10% of what I took during the trip, but you probably would get bored looking through all 1600 of them. Smile
